What can the new EUREKA NEW MIGNON Do?

Three new models, 27 colours, 2 cover options and various other optional features

One thing can be said for sure – the new Eureka Mignon series is unbeatable in variety and combination possibilities. EUREKA NEW MIGNONUnfortunately, this is not only a really huge problem for us as a dealer, but also for you as an end customer. Because we have to put together an Eureka range from the almost unlimited possibilities that we can still trade and oversee. No one can keep 300 different devices in stock and have them available at all times, let alone create and maintain images for each version. This is also a real challenge for you as a customer. In the end, everything will hopefully focus on the 3-5 most popular Eureka versions. It’ll make it a little easier. Now, however, it is not yet. Hopefully they will forgive us if we get and set the right pictures for the individual models with a time delay.

The three NEW MIGNON version

The three new versions are called SILENZIO, PERFETTO and SPECIALITA (there is also the Magnifico, but it has a special position and will therefore be of little importance).

Here is a small overview of new features compared to the previous Eureka Mignon MCI and differences between the new mills.

First let’s briefly list the common features of the three new Eureka mill versions, then let’s look at the differences

Eureka Mignon SILENZIO/PERFETTO/SPECIALITA:

  • Mills are about 1kg heavier and slightly larger (6kg)
  • The mill funnel is made of one piece and looks better (300 grams of coffee)
  • The mill funnel is inserted tightly into a round opening above the grinding mechanism with a new rubber lip. No longer wobbles back and forth or must be fixed with a screw.
  • Quieter grinding
  • Materials and colours equally varied for all models
  • The mill is largely made of plastic
  • sieve support fork NOT height adjustable (can be purchased as an option)
  • Handsfree function – sieve support can be hooked in during grinding

Now to the differences between the individual Mignon models

Eureka SILENZIO:

This entry-level model has almost the same functions as the previous Mignon MCI models. So 1 timer function at the bottom right and that’s it. Unfortunately, the ejection chute is made of plastic, which can lead to static charges and attract the coffee grounds like a magnet.

  • 50mm grinding discs
  • 1 timer function and manual operation option
  • plastic ejection chute
  • Normal degree of grinding top right in black

Eureka PERFETTO:

  • 50mm grinding discs
  • Height-adjustable sieve support fork with magnetic attachment function
  • metal ejection chute
  • 1 and 2 timer function on digital TFT display with touch function
  • Easy Setting with the coloured degree of grinding at the top right
  • Portion counter
  • Contrast control

Eureka SPECIALITA:

  • 55mm grinding discs
  • Height-adjustable sieve support fork with magnetic attachment function
  • metal ejection chute
  • 1 and 2 timer function on digital TFT display with touch function
  • Normal degree of grinding top right in black
  • Portion counter
  • Contrast control

Conclusion of the new EUREKA NEW Mignon model:

If you don’t need 2-timer functions for one and two portions, you can stay with the Silenzio, whereby you can also stay with the “old” Eureka Mignon MCI and get a complete metal body instead of the plastic case for less money.

However, if you want the Easy Setting function (i.e. quick adjustment of the grinder), PERFETTO is the perfect choice. The Specialita can NOT grind EASY SETTING faster with the 55mm grinding discs and does not heat up as much during many grinding processes.
